Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms govern use of RICO, an insurance agency management system operated by Leo Gomez (“we”, “us”), including the RICO application, ricoapp.app and RICO's browser extensions. By signing in to or using RICO you agree to them.

Who may use RICO

RICO is available by invitation to the staff of agencies we authorise. Each person uses their own account, keeps their sign-in details confidential, and is responsible for activity under it. Tell us promptly at leog@americanproinsurance.com if you believe an account has been used without permission.

Your responsibilities

  • Use RICO only for lawful agency business, and only with information you are authorised to handle.
  • Hold the licences, carrier appointments and consents your work requires, including consent to call, text or email the people you contact, and honour opt-out requests.
  • Review information RICO extracts, suggests or prepares — including AI output, notices, certificates, policy data and deadlines — before relying on it or sending it.
  • Do not attempt to access other agencies' data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it.

No professional advice

RICO is a workflow tool. It does not provide legal, underwriting, coverage, tax or regulatory advice, and it does not bind coverage on its own. Decisions about clients, coverage and compliance remain yours.

Your data

The agency keeps ownership of the information it puts into RICO. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Connected services

RICO works with services such as Google, Telnyx, Stripe and HighLevel when the agency connects them. Those services are governed by their own terms, and RICO's features that rely on them work only while they are available and connected.

Availability and changes

We work to keep RICO available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features, and may suspend access to protect customer data, the service, or to comply with law. We will post updated terms here with a new date.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RICO is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from use of RICO.

Ending use

You may stop using RICO at any time. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — data, disclaimers, liability and governing law — continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
